New Year Trip to the Sunshine State!

So stats say that Canadians are top International visitors to Canada - 3.5 million took the trip in 2018 (and I was also one of them :). And we decided to do it again this year!

The road trip route was almost same as last year and its the same route you will see in other blogs: use I-77 while going and take I-95 while coming back. Our first day stop was at West Virginia, then was Georgia and third day we reached Tampa.

Spent couple of days at Tampa at our friend's place. From there we went to Key West and then Miami. Key West is beautiful and it was amazing to watch sunrise and sunsets at the beach. Miami was a different experience. In one word it was Hispanic :). And Hispanic girls are so beautiful! You may mistake them as American girls until they open their mouth to say something in Spanish. Their Spanish is very pleasing to listen to. Guys are also very good looking - the James Franco types but not my type :).

After Miami, we went Naples to spend the new year. At this point, I can say that i have almost seen all the beaches of Florida, barring a few maybe like Fort Lauderdale. The most beautiful beaches are definitely on Miami and Tampa side. But I prefer a less crowded beach. So i will pick North Miami beaches and the St. Petersburg beach near Tampa.

What I like about Florida is that none of the people there have an attitude towards tourists. Reason being is most of the people you see have immigrated in recent times be it the Hispanic population, or the white folks or the Afro-American communities. Everyone is cool in the sunshine state :)
